Testing Online Store

Hey there,
I have an online store and i have established two (2) paypal sandbox username accounts to test the transfers.
I am using OSCommerce as the shopping basket and under the paypal module configuration have inserted the TEST email address for the store --- NOT the eventual account for real life transactions.
When completing the checkout process i receive a SIGN IN information is not valid error for the paypal login for the Purchaser --- again a test sandbox account.
Does anyone know why this might be occuring and how I would rectify the issue.
