Surely I can't be the only person out of 8600 carts that is trying to change my paypal url from US to AU? Has no-one tried?

In any case after pulling my hair out I finally found that the answer is really simple - just change the MODULE_PAYMENT_PAYPAL_DOMAIN in the CONFIGURATION table and just to be sure also change the hardcoded domains on line 181 of paypal.php as well. I did change these initially but it didn't update the config table when I selected the domain.

Does it really matter?

It probably does not make much of a difference, except maybe slightly quicker, but my client wanted it that way. I aslo think it is better to direct customers to the AU paypal now that we have one right here in Australlia.

I had to edit the database and paypal.php file to make changes on an existing cart. However, for a new installation I just edited the paypal.php file before I installed the paypal module and changed all paypal.com to paypal.com.au except for the sandbox.
