I am sure this must have been discussed before, but my searches don't find anything.

Can somebody please tell me how I set the maximum age for an item to be considered a 'New' product?

I believe you can only set the number of items to be considered (in admin) in the new product listing without other modifications. So... if you only want the last 10 items listed to be considered just change the number to 10.
