Full Version: How to install multiple language support in database?

Hello, I am here again with a problem...

I have installed the multilanguage support and it works beautifully for the info pages, but, when the new language (Spanish) is chosen, it says there are no items in the store and no categories - this doesn't matter as it didn't delete the products themselves. But I've had to deactivate the language temporarily just in case.

The other problem is that when I try to update the categories names and product names and descriptions it won't save them as the appropriate fields in the database have not been created, any help regarding why this is happening will be extremely appreciated. IS there a query I have to run when installing a language? why is this happening? sad.gif

Thanks in advance!

Figured it out: this will happen if you do not fill out the "Sort Order" field as it will label it 0, when adding a language, make sure you first write down a number that doesn't exist already so it will run the proper query.

Posting just in case it is of some use to someone in the future.
