Hi there,

I have a database of products for my new website. The prices of the goods include UK tax at 17.5%. eg if something is priced at £9.99 in my database then the ex VAT price is £8.50. So currently, if I set the VAT to 17.5% then I get a price of £11.75, which is incorrect.

I cannot seem to find a setting in the Admin section which will reverse calculate the VAT. Does it exist?

HI Mark,

I think I may have what you want. the formula is something like this.

De-calvalue = 9.99*(100/(100+(100*.175)))

Try that.
