We made a test purchase from our site using paypal as the payment method. We waited for the process to take its course but when we checked back on the site the order was still in the checkout basket, we checked paypal and they confirmed that the payment had been made ok but for some reason the order had not processed, we then tried again but chose payment by cheque/postal order option and the order went through with no problems. We are new to this and are still learning how all this works but is there a setting that maybe needs changing to do with paypal and the completion of an order once payment has been confirmed. Hope this makes sense to someone and that its just a simple change in in one of the .php files.

Hiya,

You can sometimes experience problems with an order not showing up using the "standard" paypal payment module that's included with the stock OSC download.

Search the contributions for the "PayPal IPN" payment module and install it (simple to do)

This should cure your problem.

Hope this helps
Keith.
