If you want to change colors of any element on a web page, you will need either the Hex or RGB values of the colors you are manipulating. I don't want to get into a dissertation of how those color value systems work. Suffice it to say they are relatively simple to understand once you play with them, but then again brain surgery is simple once you figure out which end the brain is located at.

Follow this link and you can download the self-install version or the zipped version. Install as appropriate and you will have Color Picker 3.1 on your system. With it, you can manipulate the color of text, background, hover, visited link and active link. You can see what colors look good, based on what you like. This is a real time saver and simple to use. It is most useful if you want to adjust color settings in the osc stylesheet.

Enjoy

I use this one, it's basic and web based but has always worked for me. Good if you don't want to download anything.

Cheers
