I have the discount coupon on our store.
We recently sent out a "membership" card to our donors. Each card has a different "member number" (aka coupon code) and there are a total of about 17,000 cards distributed (17,000 different member #s)!!!
We want to allow our "members" to receive a 5% discount on a particular item but are not really even concerned if the member number they enter is legit.
(The member numbers exists as more of a "community building" marketing tool)
Is there a way to work around entering exact coupon codes but having the discount apply to any 8 digit number entered?
