I searched the forums and google, and this problem i cant seem to find anywhere else...

I upgraded from the previous version of OSCommerce and everything seemed to be working fine, Payments go through fine and items can be purchased with both Paypal Standard and Paypal Pro, but neither of the above hold any order information in paypal. Usually i would log into oscommerce admin section and find the orders there, but there are no orders coming up... The db shows the previous backed up order of over 1 month ago... im thinking it has something to do with the tables maybe... im not exactly sure, but it seems that no one has reported this problem, so im pretty sure its something to do with the upgrade or my db...

Hello, I am having the same problem.

I have osc2.2 rc2a and the paypal web payment standard installed. I am currently testing it with Sandbox.

I can make orders, pay through paypal no problem. However, when I check my osc admin, I don't see the order showing up.

This is NOT because i did not press return to store after i made the payment. I pressed returned to the store and the order is still not showing up in my osc admin.

Any help would be appreciated

Have you enabled Instand Payment Notification (IPN) in your sandbox seller account?

I don't have it activated, but I read on the forums that I don't need to activate the paypal IPN manually to have this working??

if i do, what's the URL that i put in?

I'm not very sure if your problem is due to the IPN, but you may try and test for it.
The URL to put in is http://(your website)/checkout_process.php

I've read the forum and saw someone said that the paypal IPN is renamed as Web payment standard, don't know if it's true.

thanks for your help... i figured it out. I loaded my backup checkout_confirmation.php page and it's working again.. now i just got to figure out what i did wrong.
