I have the Paypal contrib and found that a few customers have gone through the paypal payment and sent their payment, but they have not clicked the final button that returns them to the store and logs the sale in osCommerce. On the Paypal receipt the item/product name is just 'Weekend Gamer Store', so rather embarrassingly I have to contact the customer to ask what they ordered.
Is there a way of forcing the return back to my site at the end of Paypal, or is there a way of transferring the item details to Paypal too so it shows up on that receipt?

Please, if anyone has a solution to this, I sure would like to know. I have the same problem. What can be done to solve this?

I'm having the same problem with my PP module now that I've installed Google Checkout. Before that I was getting order info.

Do you have Google Checkout installed?

Just to make sure,
I had the same problem when I was testing my shop, it was because the order was in USD and I had removed USD from my currencies, therefore the multiplier became zero and orders wouldnt show.

This last post seems like a diffreent question from the initial post. But, I did find the solution to the problem. Its already posted by members in the following post:

I am also updating the code to pass individual item information to paypal. Once I complete that - I will come back and post it on this forum and also the original one.
The key is to pass on the information of the item instead of just the store name in the catalog/includes/modules/payment/paypal.php file
