I have the following installed on my cart:

PayPal Website Payments Pro (US) Direct Payments
PayPal Express Checkout
PayPal Website Payments Standard
PayPal Website Payments Pro (UK) Direct Payments
PayPal Website Payments Pro (UK) Express Checkout

All I want is to be able to take PayPal from all over the world - which one of the above will do this? Do I need all of them enabled or just one?

For the PayPal Website Payments Pro (US) Direct Payments it asks for an API username, pwd and signature - what are these? Are they the same as your paypal login and pwd?

For PayPal Website Payments Pro (UK) Direct Payments and PayPal Website Payments Pro (UK) Express Checkout, my password is visible in the Admin panel - how secure are my paypal detailed stored in OSCommerce, can they be accessed by hackers?

Finally, I gather if I set everything to "Sandbox" I can get my testers to make "pretend" payments, and the money won't be deducted?

Thanks all blush.gif blush.gif

Hi,

If you are UK or USA based, then either of the Pro products will work as you will be able to take credit/debit cards directly on your website as well as having the Express Checkout lane for PayPal account holders.

If you do not want any credit/debit card processing directly on your website then either of the following will do the job:-

PayPal Express Checkout
PayPal Website Payments Standard

Many thanks,

John.

I'm looking at Paypal as well as an alternative Payment method.

Does the above mean that taking credit/debit cards directly on the shops website won't work for other countries - that is, other than UK and USA? If so, I wonder why since Papal accepts other currencies also...?

OK I got the answer at the Paypal website, thanks anyway!
