Hi everyone

I would like to know if this is feasible
1. I have a OS Commerce with only 1 type of product
2. This product has only 1 type of attribute
3. I would like to link to this attribute an info which is "given" by the user, and stored in the database

e.g.
1. the user selects the product
2. he selects the option (e.g. full service / half service)
3. he gives a date (a special field is given for him to enter the date)
4. he validates to buy the product with the option selected and the date
5. the date is stored same line as the product option / attribute

Thanks in advance for your help

Kindest Regards

I'm not an osC pro or anything but what I recommend is just having the two attributes by them selves (Half Service/Full Service) and then simply install a contrib that allows a user to set a date for delivery. I'm not sure if that is what you meant but it should work if I got what you meant right.

Dear Zeldaz

Thanks for your suggestion : I am going to investigate this possibility (and see how I could possibly use the delivery date as a new type of attribute for the product). For my customer, it's important that the user selects the date at the product selection (i.e. product info page), but maybe the delivery date could be transfered from product info page to the order page (in fact, what he wants is very similar to a "hotel reservation" system)

Kindest Regards

Rosanna
