Full Version: paypal vs paypay website payments standard

i activated the paypal module, and it seems to work, but i'm wondering if, by activating the PayPal Website Payments Standard Module, I'll be able to have more flexibiliity.

If I do activate the standard module, does that mean i should turn off the "PayPal" module?? do they interfere with each other?

well, things seem to be working OK, but can someone tell me if i can/should turn off the PayPal module, and just have the Website Payment Standard module running???

The paypal module is outdated and should not be used. You will lose order details eventually by using it.

Jack - thank you for the clarification!!! I will delete it, then, completely. I guess that must have been a relic from the first installation that i did - our host server HiVelocity had a very old, version 1.XX, implementation of osCommerce on their control panel, which is what i started with.
